Names New Fund Manger
May 24, 1999Westcore Funds is pleased to
name Thomas Stevens, CFA, as fund manager for the Westcore Colorado Tax-Exempt Fund.
Robert Lindig, who served as manager of the Fund since its inception in 1991, will retire
and transition his responsibilities to Stevens on May 28, 1999.
With 28 years of investment experience, Stevens brings a
solid fixed-income background and a seasoned market perspective to this position. Since
joining Westcores investment manager, Denver Investment Advisors, in 1986, Stevens
has been primarily responsible for managing fixed-income portfolios of large institutional
clients. His prior work experience includes serving as Vice President of Fixed Income at
Fidelity Bank in Philadelphia and working as Vice President and Portfolio Manager of Fixed
Income at National Investment Services of America.
Stevens has worked as a part of the Denver Investment
Advisors fixed income team for 13 years. Stevens is confident that the transition of
management for the Fund will be smooth. "Shareholders can expect our dedication in

high-quality Colorado tax-exempt holdings will remain intact," said Stevens.
