February 11, 1999—Individuals looking for a jump start
in their retirement or other savings should log on to www.westcore.com
beginning February 15, 1999. Westcore Funds will be giving away a total of $1,000 in
Westcore shares to four lucky winners in a web contest to be completed on April 1, 1999.
Registering for the contest is as easy as visiting the
Westcore Funds homepage and selecting the contest registration icon. Individuals simply
fill out a personal information form and they will be entered into the random drawing to
receive $250 in a Westcore Fund and Westcore account of their choice. The registration
window opens on February 15 and closes at 4 p.m. EST on March 31, 1999.
The four winners will be chosen on April Fool’s Day.
However, these recipients won’t feel foolish having the opportunity to deposit their
winnings in a regular account or designate their winnings as a 1998 or 1999 IRA
contribution.
In addition, all visitors to the Westcore Site can gain
important information from the new "Tax Relief and IRA Guide" section. This area
features information including, but not limited to:
