NEW MANAGEMENT TEAM TO LEAD
WESTCORE INTERNATIONAL FUNDS
Denver--Denver Investment Advisors
LLC, investment adviser of the Denver-based Westcore International
Frontier Fund and Westcore International Select Fund, has appointed Adam
D. Schor, CFA and Kevin P. Beck, CFA, co-portfolio managers replacing
Michael Gerding, CFA, when he leaves the firm on April 16, 2002.
Westcore International Frontier Fund
invests primarily in equity securities of international companies with
market capitalizations of $1.5 billion or less. Westcore International
Select Fund invests in a core group of 20 to 35 common stocks of
international companies of any size.
"Mr. Schor and Mr. Beck, along with
research analyst John C. Fenley, CFA, have nearly 35 years of combined
investment experience in the international arena," said Jeffrey D.
Adams, Executive Manager of Denver Investment Advisors. "We are
pleased that the disciplined, research-driven investment process they have
developed for institutional clients will now be available to individual
investors."
Prior to joining Denver Investment Advisors
LLC in 1997, Mr. Schor worked at Harris Associates, where he co-managed
the Oakmark International Small Cap Fund as well as covering various
geographic regions for the Oakmark International Fund. Mr. Beck joined in
2000 from Robert Fleming Inc. where he was a regional equity analyst in
their Rio de Janeiro office. Mr. Fenley also joined in 2000 from
Hansberger Global Investments where he was Lead Portfolio Manager and
Portfolio Team Member for institutional clients and mutual funds.
Since its founding more than four decades
ago, Denver Investment Advisors LLC has built a long history of research
excellence. Through Westcore Funds, individual investors gain access to
the full depth and breadth of this experience, normally available only to
large corporations and foundations. Today, with over $6 billion in
combined assets under management,* the 100% no-load Westcore Fund family
consists of nine equity funds, three bond funds, and a non-proprietary
money market fund.
