Investing for Retirement

Establishing an Individual Retirement Account (IRA) is an important step toward planning your financial future. By making regular annual contributions to your IRA you can create a nest egg for retirement while putting your assets to work on a tax-deferred basis.

Creating a Plan for Reaching Your Retirement Goals

You have many options for retirement savings and depending on your situation, you may be combining several in order to reach your goals. To meet your individual needs, Westcore offers both Traditional and Roth IRAs. Deciding which type of IRA is right for you is an important step in creating an effective financial plan for reaching your retirement goals.

The Traditional IRA was specifically created to help individuals save for retirement. Benefits include:

  • Tax-sheltered earnings and interest on contributions up to the current $5,000 per year limit ($6,000 if you are 50 or older)
